Preparations before startup: Check the hydraulic oil level; Check the engine oil pressure; Confirm that the outlet stop valve of the hydraulic oil tank is open. Check the firmness of the installation of drill pipes and drill tools; Clear the work site to ensure it is level and solid
Engine start: Turn on the main power switch. Rotate the key switch to the preheating position and check the instrument. Start the engine (the starter should not run for more than 30 seconds each time); Idle and preheat for 3 to 5 minutes
Drilling operation: Walk to the operation position; Select the drill pipe and set the parameters according to the construction requirements; Use the mast to guide and lower the drill pipe. The power head provides torque, and the pressurizing device transmits the applied force. After the drill bit is filled with soil, lift the drill bit to unload the soil. Repeat the steps of soil extraction and unloading until the designed hole depth is reached

The XR220D can work in coordination with the casing full-rotation drilling rig to deal with geological conditions prone to hole collapse such as sand layers and silt layers rich in water. For instance, in a certain sunken plaza project in Nanjing, through this combined process, it successfully solved the problem of pipe gushing that is prone to occur in the fine sand layer rich in confined water, ensuring the quality of pile formation.
Before starting, it is essential to conduct a round-the-engine check: check if the engine oil level is sufficient. Check the oil level and quality in the hydraulic oil tank. Check whether there are any broken wires in the main and auxiliary steel wire ropes and whether the connection is safe and reliable. Check for any cracks or damages in each structural component.
First, turn on the main power switch. Then rotate the key switch to the preheating position and check the status of the display instrument. Then, turn the key clockwise to start the engine. Note that each time the engine starts, it should not run for more than 30 seconds. After starting, let the engine idle for 3 to 5 minutes to warm up, and then gradually increase the speed.
After the work is completed, the remaining diesel volume should be checked, and the oil-water separator and fuel tank should be emptied to prevent water vapor from condensing. Park the drill to the ground, pull down the safety handle, turn off the engine and remove the key. Finally, clean up the site and park the equipment at the designated location.
Lubrication system: Grease should be added to the rotating gear ring every 50 working hours.
Before each shift, grease should be applied to the bearings of the drill pipe lifter and the servo guide frame.
Steel wire rope: Regularly inspect the main and auxiliary steel wire ropes for any broken wires, and lubricate the steel wire ropes to ensure that each strand is fully coated with grease.
Hydraulic system: Regularly check the hydraulic oil level and quality, and replace the hydraulic oil and filter elements according to the maintenance cycle. Special note: Before changing the hydraulic oil or performing any maintenance on the hydraulic system, the system pressure must be released!
Insufficient torque of the power head may involve both hydraulic and mechanical aspects. It is recommended to check whether the pressure of the hydraulic system is sufficient. Check whether the power head motor, reducer or gearbox is faulty. Inspect and replace the damaged sealing ring; Clean or replace unclean hydraulic oil and filter elements.
