Product Uses
Compaction of the asphalt surface layer of high-grade expressways
Compaction of the foundation and surface layer of the airport runway
Large compacted areas such as ports, docks and industrial sites
Large-scale municipal projects and the construction of main urban roads
Compaction of the foundations of DAMS and embankments
Product Operate Guide
Start the engine;
Set the vibration switch and the driving control lever to the "middle" or "Stop" position.
Insert the key, connect the power supply, and wait for the self-check to complete (if any).
Start the engine. In cold weather, the preheating function may need to be used.
Starting:
Release the handbrake.
Sound the horn to alert the people around to pay attention.
Slowly push the walking control lever to start driving. Avoid sudden starts and sharp acceleration.
FAQ
A: The XD123 is usually equipped with dual-frequency and dual-amplitude functions. Generally, two amplitude Settings (such as 0.8mm/0.4mm) and matching frequencies are provided. The selection principle is:
High amplitude and low frequency: Used in the initial compaction stage, suitable for thicker layers, it can provide greater impact force, overcome the initial resistance of the material, and achieve deep compaction.
Low amplitude and high frequency: Used in the re-pressing and final pressing stages, suitable for standard thickness layering, it can improve surface flatness and density, and eliminate shallow cracks.
Note: The switch must be carried out when the vibration is off and the steel wheel is rolling.
A: High amplitude is used for the initial compaction of thick layers or materials that are difficult to compact; Low amplitude is used for thin layering, final compaction or compaction with particle size restrictions on the material to achieve a smoother surface.
A: Check the levels of engine oil, coolant and fuel. Check the hydraulic oil level; Check if there is any adhered asphalt on the steel wheel. Check whether the sprinkler system is functioning properly. Walk around the vehicle to check for any oil or water leakage.
A: Common causes include
Power supply issues: Insufficient battery power, loose or corroded terminal posts.
Safety switches are not in place: The driver's seat safety switch, vibration start-stop switch or steel wheel position lock are not in the correct position.
Fuel system issues: insufficient fuel, air in the fuel line, clogged fuel filter.
Low ambient temperature: Intake preheating or glow plug (preheating plug) was not used as required.
One of the highlights of the XD123 is its sprinkler system:
Intelligent control: Continuous spraying, intermittent spraying and other modes can be selected on the control panel. Intermittent mode can effectively save water and prevent excessive watering to lower the temperature of asphalt.
Self-cleaning nozzle: The nozzle is designed with an anti-clogging function, and the system is usually equipped with a self-circulation cleaning function, which is convenient for maintenance.
The key to preventing wheels from sticking: Ensure that the sprayed water evenly covers the steel wheels to form a thin water film. The amount of water is not necessarily the larger the better. The best state should be that the steel wheel is moist but not sticky with asphalt.
A: Key daily maintenance:
Cleaning: Thoroughly rinse the fuselage, especially the asphalt residue on the steel wheels, sprinkler nozzles and engine radiator.
Inspection: Wind around the machine to check for any oil or water leakage, and inspect the fastening bolts of key structural components.
Lubrication: Apply grease to lubrication points such as hinge frames and bearings as needed.
