Product Introduction
XP163 is a large, efficient and multi-functional tyre roller produced by XG Group. It is mainly applicable to the compaction operation of the base layer and asphalt surface layer of various roads. Especially with its unique "rolling" compaction effect, it has become an indispensable key equipment for the construction of high-grade highways, airports, DAMS and other major projects.
Product Advantage
Irreplaceable compaction effect: Its "kneading" compaction effect is something that steel wheel rollers cannot achieve, effectively eliminating aggregate cracks and enhancing the durability of the road surface.
One machine with multiple uses, economical and efficient: By adding or removing counterweights and adjusting tire pressure, one device can complete various compaction tasks from the base layer to the surface layer, offering an extremely high cost performance.
High passability and uniformity: All-wheel drive and tire swing technology ensure uniform compaction even on complex terrains such as soft ground and curves, without causing false compaction.
Comfortable and safe operation: The spacious cab, excellent field of vision and advanced control system provide drivers with a comfortable and safe working environment.

Product Uses
High-grade highways: The final compaction and sealing operation of the asphalt surface layer is a key process to ensure the final quality of the pavement.
Airport runway: A situation where extremely high requirements are placed on the flatness and density of the pavement.
Dam and embankment filling: Compaction of basic materials such as earth, sand, gravel and stone.
Compaction operations for large-scale infrastructure projects such as ports, docks, and railway subgrades.
Product Operate Guide
Before operating the XP163 tire roller, it is necessary to check the tire pressure, tread condition and sprinkler system to ensure that the pressure is consistent and there is no damage. After starting, let the engine idle to warm up. When operating, adjust the counterweight and tire pressure according to the material properties, maintain a constant speed and drive in a straight line, and avoid sharp turns. In the final pressing stage, vibration is turned off, and the density and surface flatness are enhanced by static pressure rubbing. Pay attention to observing environmental safety and clean the tires regularly to prevent material adhesion. For detailed steps, please refer to the official operation manual.
FAQ
Base compaction: It is recommended to use a lower tire pressure (such as 300-400 kPa) to increase the grounding area and prevent material displacement.
Final pressure of the surface layer: It is recommended to use a higher tire pressure (such as 500-700 kPa) to increase the unit pressure and enhance the sealing performance.
Before starting the operation, it is necessary to check whether the pressure of all tires is consistent to avoid uneven compaction.
Before starting the operation, make sure the water tank is filled with clean and soft water to prevent nozzle blockage.
Activate the intermittent watering mode to prevent excessive water spraying from causing a sudden drop in asphalt temperature.
After daily work, the water tank and nozzles need to be cleaned to prevent the accumulation of scale.
Base compaction: The ground specific pressure can be increased and the compaction effect enhanced by adding counterweights (such as sand, gravel, and iron blocks).
Surface layer compaction: The counterweight should be reduced to avoid excessive compression causing damage to the aggregates.
The specific counterweight should be selected by referring to the operation manual based on the material type and thickness.
Check whether the pressures of the left and right tires are consistent.
Check whether the tire wear is uniform.
Check whether there is one-sided resistance in the braking system or steering system.
Daily: Check the engine oil, hydraulic oil level, tire pressure and tread damage.
Every 50 hours: Clean the sprinkler filter and check the torque of the tire fixing bolts.
Every 250 hours: Replace the hydraulic oil filter element and check the reliability of the braking system.
Clean the residual materials on the fuselage and tires to prevent corrosion.
Lift the tire pads off the ground and reduce the tire pressure to half pressure.
Start the engine once a month and run the hydraulic system for no less than 10 minutes.
