Product Introduction
The RT70U is a 70-ton off-road tire crane. It features a dual-axle heavy-duty chassis with both 4×2 and 4×4 drive configurations and four steering modes. With a minimum turning radius of just 6.1 meters and a maximum gradeability of 65%, it delivers outstanding maneuverability, making it suitable for complex operating conditions in oil fields, mines, and road and bridge construction.
Product Advantage
RT70U is suitable for lifting operation in oilfields, mines, road and bridge construction, etc. Specialized energy-saving hydraulic system. The torque converter with lockout function has features of large torque at low speeds and high efficiency at high speeds. Elevating control system for freefall, without additional power needed.
Two driving types of 4×2 and 4×4 are adopted with forwards and backwards driving function. Four steering modes are adopted , and the min. turning radius is 19.9ft with better job site adaptability. The crane is designed by conforming with the safety standards of Europe, North America and China, for optimal active protection. Double-cylinder plus ropes telescoping system, stable and reliable. 5-section boom of 141.7ft and jib of 57.4ft with wide operation range.

Product Uses
1. Mining and Quarry Operations
Ideal for lifting and transporting large ore blocks, stone materials, heavy equipment components, and installing pipelines in mines and quarries. Its rugged chassis and powerful off-road capability (maximum gradeability of 65%), combined with specialized off-road tires and anti-slip differential lock, effortlessly handles rough and challenging terrain.
2. Oilfield and Energy Base Construction
Used in oilfield and energy project sites for equipment installation, pipe handling, and maintenance support. Three operating modes—outrigger-supported, tire-supported, and load-carrying travel—flexibly adapt to diverse construction site requirements.
3. Road, Bridge, and Infrastructure Construction
Widely deployed at highway and bridge construction sites for lifting precast components, steel, and other building materials. Its extended boom configuration (main boom + jib reaching up to 58.1 meters) provides excellent working range, effectively covering common work surfaces.
4. Port Terminals and Large Vessel Maintenance
In ports and major shipyards, it efficiently handles loading, unloading, and transferring heavy cargo, equipment, and materials. Its agile mobility (maximum speed of 35 km/h) and full slewing capability enhance operational efficiency.
5. Large-Scale Warehousing Logistics and Emergency Response
At major storage bases and logistics centers, it efficiently handles heavy cargo loading/unloading. Its excellent stability (H-type outriggers) and reliable continuous operation capability (validated through 4,000km driving and 10,000 lifting cycles) also meet emergency response demands.
Product Operate Guide
RT70U operation must strictly adhere to regulations. Before commencing work, ensure outriggers are fully extended and supported on solid, level ground. Monitor the torque limiter throughout operation; overloading is strictly prohibited. Control boom movements smoothly via the control console, noting its 65% maximum gradeability for off-road performance on complex terrain. Assign a dedicated signal person during lifting operations to ensure cargo is securely fastened and clear of personnel. After operation, fully retract and secure the boom, and perform regular maintenance. Operators must be certified.
FAQ
1. WHAT SHOULD I DO IF THE EQUIPMENT SUDDENLY LOSES POWER?
Immediately stop the machine smoothly. Inspect the fuel supply system, hydraulic system, and electrical system. Restart only after troubleshooting the issue.
2. HOW SHOULD EQUIPMENT BE STORED PROPERLY?
Clean the equipment, fill the fuel tank, drain water from the radiator, apply rust-proofing to exposed metal parts, and start the engine once a month.
3. HOW TO RESOLVE AUTOMATIC BOOM LOWERING ON AN EXCAVATOR?
Inspect the boom cylinder seals for damage and verify the function of the hold valve. Replace cylinder seals and repair the hold valve.
4. HOW TO ADDRESS WEAK TRAVEL PERFORMANCE?
Check the transmission oil level and inspect the clutch or torque converter for faults. Top up transmission oil and repair the drive system.
5. WHAT TO DO IF THE ENGINE IS DIFFICULT TO START?
Solution: Verify battery charge level, check starter motor operation, and inspect fuel system for air ingress. Recharge or replace battery, examine starter circuit, and purge air from fuel system.
6. WHAT CAUSES EXCESSIVE NOISE IN THE HYDRAULIC SYSTEM?
Typically due to insufficient hydraulic fluid, degraded oil quality, clogged suction filter, or air ingress into the hydraulic pump. Inspect fluid level, replace hydraulic oil and filter, and eliminate air leaks in the intake lines.
