On-site positioning and inspection
The equipment enters the site through its own walking mechanism. It should be noted that the driving wheels should be at the rear. When going up and down slopes, the mast must be placed flat and must not pass through the slope laterally.
Before commencing work, a comprehensive inspection must be carried out, including the power system, hydraulic system, various mechanical components and steel wire ropes, etc., to ensure that the equipment is in good condition.
Homework cycle
Hole alignment and lowering: Use the mast for guidance to align the drill pipe and the drill bit with the hole position and lower them.
Drilling and soil extraction: The power head provides torque for the drill pipe, and the pressurizing device transmits pressure, causing the drill bit to break the rock and soil and load it into the bucket.
Lifting the drill and unloading soil: The drill bit is lifted out of the hole through the lifting device to unload soil, and then the process of soil extraction and unloading is repeated until the designed hole depth is reached.

Operation must follow the norms: Firstly, when the equipment enters the construction site, it is necessary to ensure that the mast is placed flat and the driving wheels are at the rear. Secondly, a comprehensive inspection should be carried out before the operation, including the power system, hydraulic system, and the working conditions of each mechanism, etc. Finally, during the drilling process, the power head is used to provide torque for the drill pipe. Through a cycle of drilling, soil extraction, and soil unloading, the designed hole depth is reached.
Before starting: Run around the machine to check if the levels of engine oil, hydraulic oil and coolant are sufficient.
After startup: Warm up the machine for 3 to 5 minutes first, then perform some continuous movements, and finally start working.
After work: Check the diesel oil level, place the drill tool back on the ground, turn off the engine and remove the key.
Regular lubrication: It is recommended to apply grease to the rotating gear ring and other parts every 50 hours.
Maintenance should be carried out on a periodic basis: inspect and clean the equipment every shift. Conduct a comprehensive monthly inspection and tighten the bolts, and check for worn parts. Regularly change the engine oil, hydraulic oil and various filters (such as oil filters, hydraulic oil filters and air filters).
The XR150DIII is designed to meet the requirements of the CE directive. It is equipped with a centralized lubrication system as standard, which reduces maintenance risks. Take the common oil leakage of the power head skeleton oil seal as an example. You can conduct a preliminary self-check:
Check the oil seal: Remove the end cover and inspect whether the lip of the oil seal is worn or scratched.
Check the main shaft: Touch the contact area between the main shaft and the oil seal with your hand to feel if there are any grooves.
Check the bearing clearance: If there are no issues with the above, it might be that the bearing clearance is too large. The gasket needs to be adjusted to ensure that the clearance is between 0.08mm and 0.15mm. For complex faults, it is recommended to contact professional technicians.
